Why RAC?-part 2

What are the differences between you and other schools?

· The biggest difference is intent. Our goals for you are to see you successful not only in school, but in your career and in life. We are interested in you being the best you can be. If you come to school here– you are not just a number, you are a person and we will work to make sure that you have the opportunity to get as much as you can out of our time together.

· Our instructors are well educated and up to date, and we bring in guest instructors from local salons.

· Our Guest Instructors are local stylists who excel in the field. These include Redken Artists, American Board Certified Haircolorists, Redken Certified Haircolorists, an ABCH Evaluator, Salon Owner/s...and more.

· We bring in specialists for certain parts of the program. You will learn nails from a nail tech and facials from an esthetician!

· Our parent company (Ross the Boss and Co) started the school as a way to get quality stylists. The expense and effort of re-training staff and the inability to get quality applicants is what led to the start of RAC. (Rumor dispelled– If you chose to attend RAC, you do NOT have to work for Ross the Boss!) ... can’t imagine where that got started?

· We have an interest in you, even after you graduate. We have stylists all over the south and we are always glad when they drop by and update us on what they’ve been up to and  tell us how glad they are that they went to school here!

· We consider graduation the beginning, not the end, of your journey.

· We use Redken professional products. We have other “wet” lines available for you to play with, but Redken is our main line. (Although we teach haircolor so that you can use any color line when you graduate, we use Redken haircolor and feel that they have the best products available. ) Check out their website here. www.Redken.com

· To fulfill our goal in making you “salon ready”, we have small classes, and small student to teacher ratios!

· Salon owners call frequently to see when I am going to have more quality graduates for them to hire!
